There is drama in our own backyard and you would least expect where it is coming from.
Casa Bonita who previously has been in the news for its agreement with the creators of the world-famous and more importantly Colorado famous show, South Park to sell their dining establishment to them. However, like a kid on the playground that wants their ball back, the owners say “Ummm, I changed my mind”
Earlier in September the two parties mutually agreed on the sale of the restaurant for an amount north of 3 million dollars. but now, the same people that wanted to sell the spot, want it back for even farther north of 3 million dollars.
You rarely see this type of activity in a game of monopoly let alone the real world, yet here we are.
The reasoning provided from the objecting group makes sense from a wholesome and emotional standpoint as they want to remain part of the community and be a serious business as they feel the sale of the current location will be more so used as a prop referenced to a South Park episode, where the reference originally began. From a business standpoint, you could also see why the creators of South Park are letting the legal system decide who gets what.
