Believe it or not these ear shaped edibles are a real product by Tyson 2.0. They are currently sold in California and are a homage to Tyson biting a piece of ear off of Evander Holyfield’s ear during a title fight in 1997.

However, these products will not be something you can buy in Colorado. A 2016 Colorado law prohibits marijuana edibles from being shaped like humans, animals, fruit or other objects that could attract children. Believe it or not, according to the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division, Holyfield’s chomped ear is seen as a must have edible.

According to MED communication director Shannon Gray, the vegan, ear-shaped edibles are “directly applicable” to the law banning human body part shapes.

So, Mike Bites will now be created in the shape of a “T” in Colorado, according to Tyson 2.0. The gummies are expected to be in Colorado recreational dispensaries and will be able to be purchased before the end of the summer.

Holyfield however isn’t able to take a bite of any profits from Mike Bites, according to Tyson 2.0’s CEO. Talk about opening up an old wound.
