The city of Denver is being sued by a man a Denver cop called ‘A Turd’ during an arrest. I mean it’s been awhile since anyone has called another a turd. Like I’m thinking of the 90s. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it was a reason to sue the police department.

Keilon Hill reportedly called 911 after he was involved in a car accident. After police showed up, they proceeded to search his car for suspicion of marijuana smell. But any Denverite knows that scent is almost always in our city air.

After becoming enraged by this and confronting the officers, Hill was arrested. When he questions why he is being arrested, one of the officers asked him why he is being an a**hole about it according to the lawsuit. The filing also alleges that one officer on scene told the other officer that Hill ”looked like a turd”, and accused him of being intoxicated which he denies.

Hill ended up being charged with interference with police authority, and later was released from jail on bond. He pleaded not guilty and the court dismissed the case. But it didn’t end there, Hill has decided to sue for the offense of being called ‘a Turd’. He accuses the police department of violating many of his constitutional rights.

All I can say is, this world just keeps getting weirder.
