A man is in police custody after a Ring camera allegedly caught him and his wigged accomplice pulling a gun on a couple after stalking them to their front door.

The couple were on a walk back to their home when they were followed by the two perpetrators. The male proceeded to pull a gun on them seconds before the homeowners slammed the door, locking themselves safely inside, according to Wheat Ridge Police.

Police were unsure of the motive.

The camera captures the two, apparently wearing wigs, then laughing as they run back to their vehicle before speeding away. It does appear there is a third person waiting in the suspects silver Kia Sportage.

Apparently just minutes later and about a half mile away, the two are suspected in an armed robbery in nearby Denver. The police are asking for help in identifying the suspects. Although they are wearing disguises their faces still seem to be clear.

“Although they both appear to be wearing costumes or at least wigs, their faces are quite clear,” police said as they shared the Ring footage to Facebook, asking for help identifying the duo. “In other words, if you know them odds are you’ll recognize them.”

It was a success and someone did. Well one of the suspects anyway.

A day after sharing the footage, the police department confirmed they identified and arrested the male suspect from the video, adding that charges were pending and they were still working to identify the woman in the video.

So if you can help, please take a look and see if you recognize this female suspect. You can reach out to the Wheat Ridge Police at (303) 237-2220.
