Lakeside Amusement Park is finally reopening tonight after staffing issues caused delays. It was originally scheduled to open on Wednesday, but due to inclement weather, this could not happen.
Brenda Fisherman said the park planned to reopen midsummer but first had to hire seasonal workers, many of whom it lost when it failed to hire in 2020. As the park remained closed last year, remaining staff utilized the time to improve infrastructure.
