This weekend is supposed to be rainy with a chance of some sun. While we can’t let rainy days keep us in the house, venturing out is the perfect remedy to help cure the stormy blues. 

Whether you’re looking to rock out with the Fall Out Boys or watch a bunch of “buckin,” there’s something for everyone from rodeos, concerts, and festivals. 

Here are 10 things to do this weekend: 

Rooftop Rodeo- July 5-10

In Estes Park, the PRCA-sanctioned Rooftop Rodeo opened its doors Wednesday. Check out bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and more— for more information, click here. 

Breckenridge July Art Festival- July 6-9

From Today through Saturday, enjoy the 40th annual Breckenridge July Art Festival featuring 13 categories from various artists. It is free for the entire family and starts at 10 am – click here for more. 

Cirque du Soleil – July 7-Aug 13

The big top is up and ready to go! Enjoy new heights as Kooza takes over downtown Denver’s Ball Arena parking lot. For more information, click here. 

Crested Butte Wildflower Festival -July 7-9

Starting tomorrow (Friday) until Sunday, July 16, marks the 37th annual Crested Butte Wildflower Festival. From hiking, photography, workshops, birding, and more, it’s the perfect place to experience the outdoors with great libations truly. For more information, click here. 

Mesa County Fair & Carnival- July 7-15

The biggest carnival is back! At least, that’s what they say on their website. The Mesa Country Fair & Carnival is back for 9 nights with a hypnotist, comedy show, dueling pianos, rodeos, and more. For more information, click here. 

Arts and Crafts Festival- July 8-9

In Town Park, this Saturday and Sunday are the Grand Lake Arts and Crafts Festival, with over 60 vendors sharing their handmade goods. For more information, click here. 

¡Viva! Streets – July 9 

¡Viva! Streets is a free community event series celebrating Denver’s vibrant neighborhoods and supporting local businesses with temporary car-free streets. For more information, click here.

Fall Out Boy- July 9

Taking over Greenwood Village, Fall Out Boy returns to Colorado on July 9, featuring Bring Me The Horizon, Royal and The Serpent, and Daisy Grenade. Tickets are available here.

 Cookie Chase 5K – July 9

Feed your inner cookie monster at this year’s Cookie Chase 5K in Sloan’s Lake Park. It’s not too late to register for $35 in person with a $3.95 processing fee. For more information, click here. 

Colorado Black Arts Festival- July 7-9

From Friday through Sunday at Denver’s City Park, the 37th annual Colorado Black Arts Festival celebrates African American art and culture. It’s free and open to the public; for more information, click here.
