Woman Wanted After $180K Fraudulently Withdrawn from Denver-Area Bank Accounts

Authorities are searching for a woman accused of using fake identification to fraudulently withdraw more than $180,000 from multiple bank accounts in the Denver metro area. The Longmont Police Department reports that the suspect is connected to at least three incidents — two in Longmont and one in Denver — involving unauthorized transactions.

The first attempt, on July 2 in Longmont, was thwarted when a bank employee recognized the suspect’s ID as fake. However, police say the woman was successful in two other attempts: on July 11 in Longmont, she allegedly withdrew over $100,000, and another $80,000 was taken from a Denver bank. Investigators believe the same woman is responsible for all three incidents.

Police have released images of the suspect and are urging the public to help identify her. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Mark Cooper at mark.cooper@longmontcolorado.gov or call 303-774-3517, referencing report #25-7901.
