Pomeranian Puppy Stolen from Pet Ranch in Thornton — Police Seek Suspect
Yet another puppy has been stolen from a Denver metro area pet store, marking a troubling trend across Colorado. This time, it happened at the Pet Ranch on East 120th Avenue in Thornton, where police say a woman walked in just before 6:45 p.m. on April 25, picked up a Pomeranian puppy, and walked out without paying. The puppy is valued at $2,499.
This isn’t the first time Pet Ranch has been targeted. Last year, a golden retriever puppy was stolen from the same location, and while it was eventually recovered, other thefts have followed. In March, authorities made headlines by arresting three people linked to the theft of bulldog puppies from a store in Centennial.
Thornton police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect in the latest case. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the department’s tip line at 720-977-5069.
