There will be no sale of the Mexican restaurant made famous by the television show “South Park” to the show’s creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
Summit Family Restaurant Inc., the restaurant’s parent company, told TMZ they have no plans to sell despite declaring bankruptcy in April.
Despite its capacity to seat more than 1,000 people, the restaurant has been closed since the Coronavirus pandemic spread.
A petition has now been created to ask the current owners of Casa Bonita to sell the restaurant to (Matt and Trey) the creators of South Park.
The Change.Org petition is asking people to sign it so it can be sent to Summit Family Restaurant Inc.
