Tonight, I’m focusing on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets as they look to bounce back against the Oklahoma City Thunder after a tough loss earlier this week. One key player prop I have my eye on is Jokic’s rebounds, currently set at 12.5.
Since January 1st, Aaron Gordon has missed nine games, and in his absence, Jokic has stepped up in a significant way. He has gotten 13+ rebounds in seven of those nine games. Even in Denver’s recent 127-103 loss to the Thunder, Jokic remained dominant on the glass, grabbing 13 rebounds despite the team’s struggles.
Tonight’s matchup is also pretty solid. Over the past seven games, the Thunder have been weak on the boards against opposing centers, allowing the fourth-most rebounds to the position at 17.03 per game. Given Jokic’s consistent presence on the glass and motivation to avenge Denver’s previous loss, I expect him to be aggressive here tonight and get over this line!
