A herd of bison escaped their pasture in Deer Trail, Colorado while the owner was away. A school resource officer, Deputy Matthews, was called in after reports of the herd heading towards the Deer Trail School District.
Matthews arrived at the scene to find the bison on County Road 38. Luckily, no one was hurt and the deputies were able to use their patrol cars to escort the bison back to their pasture. The owner was later informed about the breakout.
