Bo Nix Joins Elway and Manning in Broncos History
In just his second season, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is already making franchise history — joining the elite company of John Elway and Peyton Manning.
During Sunday’s 44–24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, Nix went 19 of 29 for 247 yards and four touchdown passes, marking his third career game with four touchdown throws. That feat places him alongside Elway and Manning as the only quarterbacks in Broncos history to record at least three such games.
Nix’s other four-touchdown performances include:
-
Week 11 vs. Atlanta Falcons (Nov. 17, 2024) – 28 of 33, 307 yards, 4 TDs
-
Week 18 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Jan. 5, 2024) – 26 of 29, 321 yards, 4 TDs
For perspective, more than 100 quarterbacks have suited up for the Broncos, and since Manning’s 2015 retirement, the team cycled through 14 different starters before Nix solidified the role.
He’s still early in his career, but Bo Nix has already carved his name into Denver’s record books — and if this pace continues, he might just build a legacy worthy of the legends he’s now mentioned alongside.
