Man Left in Serious Condition After Motorcycle Assault — Police Need Help Identifying Suspects

Police in Wheat Ridge are asking for the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest following a violent assault that left a man seriously injured.

According to the Wheat Ridge Police Department, the incident occurred on April 2 and involved two individuals on motorcycles. Investigators say the suspect riding a white motorcycle is seen assaulting the victim, causing serious bodily injury. The victim was transported to a hospital and remains in serious condition.

A second individual, riding a red motorcycle, is believed to have been involved as an accomplice in the attack.

Police describe the primary suspect as a man in his twenties or thirties with dark hair and a full beard. Authorities have not released additional identifying details at this time.

Investigators are urging anyone who may recognize the suspects or has information about the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867, and tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

Authorities are also encouraging the public to share the information in hopes of identifying those involved as quickly as possible.
