Anderson Aldrich, the convicted Club Q shooter, has been moved to the Wyoming State Penitentiary from the Denver prison, according to the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC).

According to the Gazette, the CDOC stated that Aldrich was moved out of state due to safety concerns surrounding his high-profile cases. Aldrich was previously incarcerated at the Denver Reception & Diagnostic Center.

Aldrich is serving five life sentences without parole after pleading guilty to five counts of first-degree murder and 46 counts of attempted first-degree murder. He also pleaded no contest to two bias-motivated crimes.

Club Q gets a new location

According a press release on Club Q ‘s website, they’ve renamed the club as “The Q” and will move to a location within the Satellite Hotel at 411 Lakewood Circle, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

“We fully recognize that Club Q and this community has never been a building or location,” the statement said. “It’s composed of tens of thousands of people of all walks of life coming together to celebrate love and acceptance. The Club Q community has continued to carry on with strength and resilience, even while the doors have remained closed.”
