A day on the golf course came with a purpose Monday: supporting Denver North High School’s student athletes. The third annual Denver North High School Booster Golf Tournament and Silent Auction took place September 28 at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, bringing the fundraiser back for another year of community support.
Behind the event is the Denver North High School Booster Club, a nonprofit that works alongside North’s athletic department and community to help cover needs beyond what school and district budgets can provide. The goal is straightforward: give every student athlete the opportunity to participate, develop their skills and be part of a team.
That’s what gives this tournament its meaning beyond the scorecard. Supporting the Booster Club means investing in the students representing North and helping the school’s athletic programs offer more opportunities.
