Denver Speakeasy Debuts $2,500 Gold-Infused Martini – With a Hidden Gem Inside
Tucked discreetly inside the Halcyon Hotel in Cherry Creek, the exclusive speakeasy B&GC is now serving what might be Denver’s most extravagant drink — the Gilded Martini, priced at a cool $2,500. But this isn’t just a lavish cocktail — it’s also a glittering gift box.

The martini itself is crafted with gold-infused Monkey 47 gin, Belvedere 10 vodka (based on a 1910 recipe), house vermouth, and olive oil. It’s garnished with a sheet of 24-karat gold and shimmering edible gold flakes, but what really drives the price up is the 14-karat gold paperclip necklace with a solitaire diamond, created in collaboration with Cherry Creek jeweler Gnat Jewelry Atelier.

The necklace, valued at about $5,000, comes tucked inside a lockbox alongside the martini, making the entire experience part drink, part jewelry purchase. As of this week, no one has yet claimed the Gilded Martini, but it’s on full display at the bar, awaiting its first splashy debut.
While not the priciest cocktail ever (a $13,000 mezcal martini in Chicago still holds that title), the Gilded Martini is certainly among Denver’s most luxurious — combining luxury sipping with wearable sparkle.
