“He Followed Her” — Police Search for Suspect After Multiple Incidents on Lakewood Trail

A search is underway in Lakewood after a man allegedly groped a woman and exposed himself to multiple victims along the Bear Creek Greenbelt, raising concern among those who regularly use the popular trail.

According to police, the incident began Sunday afternoon, March 21, near the Stone House. A woman reported that a man approached her and groped her before she was able to break away. Investigators say the suspect then followed her toward the area near Bear Creek Elementary School, continuing along the trail.

Authorities believe the man continued heading east on the Bear Creek Greenbelt, where he allegedly exposed himself to at least two additional women. The series of incidents has prompted an active search as police work to identify and locate the suspect.

The man is described as a Hispanic male with a medium build, black hair, and wearing a white sweatshirt with a large dragon design on the front.

The Bear Creek Greenbelt is widely used by walkers, runners, and families, making the situation particularly unsettling for the surrounding community. Lakewood police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or who has information about the suspect to come forward as the investigation continues.

If you recognize him contact the Lakewood Police Department.
