Adopt-A-Dog Day Rolls into North Denver This Saturday—Here’s How You Can Help Save a Life
If your summer plans include adding a four-legged friend to the family, circle Saturday, June 14 on your calendar. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mountain States Toyota (201 W. 70th Ave., Denver) will transform its showroom into a tail-wagging adoption fair featuring pups like Rikku, Lacey, Garth, Molasses, Rowdy, Jet, and more—all eager to find their forever homes.
Two Rescues, One Mission
The adoption party benefits Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue and Animal Rescue of the Rockies (ARR), two Colorado nonprofits that specialize in pulling dogs from overcrowded shelters, neglect cases, and surrender situations.
-
Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue is an all-volunteer organization devoted to homeless and abused boxers. Donations cover everything from medical treatment to basic training—plus the one-on-one attention boxers crave in order to thrive with a new family.
-
Animal Rescue of the Rockies places dogs (and cats) in foster homes until they’re matched with adopters, ensuring each pet arrives socialized, vaccinated, and ready to settle in.
What to Expect

Sponsors Who Make It Possible
Special thanks to Giamundo Home Loans and Pak Home Realty for underwriting adoption costs and raffle prizes—every dollar raised goes straight back to the rescues.
Why Adopt?
Each dog adopted frees up space in foster care and allows Ho-Bo Care and ARR to pull another animal from at-risk situations. You’ll walk away with unconditional love, plus free post-adoption resources like training tips and vet references.
