Drunk Man Arrested for Throwing Snowballs at Colorado Ski Resort

Throwing snowballs is a common pastime in Colorado, but one man took things too far at Keystone Ski Resort, leading to his arrest.

According to KKTV, Summit County deputies responded to reports of a disorderly individual at the base of the resort on February 1. Witnesses say the intoxicated man was harassing two young girls who were waiting for their father to exit a restroom.

The suspect allegedly began cursing at the girls, flipping them off, and then throwing snowballs at them, despite them not engaging with him. Multiple bystanders witnessed the incident and reported it to law enforcement.

Deputies determined there was sufficient probable cause and arrested the man on charges of harassment, disorderly conduct, and assault.

While a friendly snowball fight can be all in good fun, this incident serves as a reminder that crossing the line into harassment can have serious consequences.
