Elitches opens up on April 29th, or a week earlier if you have a Season Pass. This year, Elitches has updated the classic Twister 2 that’s we’ve been riding since 1995. They’ve included a 100 foot long tunnel that broadcasts the sounds of a real tornado. Add that to the 4,600 feet of track, the 3.2 G’s you pull on the 90 foot drop, and the views you get at 10 stories up, and you get the best wooden roller coaster in town. Elitches is so proud of their new updates, that they’ve even given it a new name. Say goodbye to Twister 2, and hello to Twister 3: StormChaser.
