Father’s Day Belly Flop Contest at Water World

This Father’s Day at Water World, from all over the Denver metro area and surrounding towns, gathered some of the best belly floppers or those hoping to grab the coveted title of best belly flopper! With mostly men and a few women up for the challenge, this is one of the park’s most anticipated annual events.
This year had twenty-five contestants, being judged on the redness of their bellies, the sound of the smack when they hit the water, and the crowd’s applause. These were some of the most competitive floppers in Colorado.

With painted bellies and plenty of gusto, these contestants vied for the coveted title of Best BellyFlopper and the cash prizes awarded to the top five spots. After much applause, splashes, and stinging bellies the results were announced. Congratulations to the top 5 winners of this year’s contest!
