Southern Favorite Smalls Sliders Bringing Its Famous Cheeseburger “Cans” to Colorado
Get ready, burger lovers — one of the South’s fastest-growing restaurant chains is rolling into Colorado for the first time. Smalls Sliders, the Louisiana-based burger joint famous for its craveable cheeseburger sliders and bright orange shipping container-style restaurants, is opening its first Colorado location this fall in Northglenn.
Known for serving up juicy sliders, seasoned waffle fries, and thick milkshakes from its signature orange “can,” Smalls Sliders has quickly become a hit across the South — with locations spanning from Texas to Georgia. The brand marked its Colorado debut this week with a celebratory “can drop” at 1831 E. 120th Avenue in Northglenn, officially setting the stage for its grand opening later this year.

But this won’t be the only “can” coming to the Centennial State. Franchise partners have already announced plans for additional Smalls Sliders locations in Johnstown and Green Valley Ranch, expanding the chain’s footprint across the Front Range.
Smalls Sliders first launched in Baton Rouge in 2019 and has since earned a cult following for its simple, high-quality menu and fun, fast-casual vibe. The company’s unique restaurant design — built from customized shipping containers — allows for quick service and easy expansion into new communities.
While the Northglenn restaurant isn’t open just yet, fans can expect its grand opening before the holiday season. Once the doors open, expect big flavors served small — all from that unmistakable bright orange can.
