Denver Police Hunt for 2 Women After 3-Car Crash in West Denver Neighborhoods

Denver police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Federal Boulevard and Alameda Avenue, a busy junction where the neighborhoods of Westwood, Athmar Park, Barnum, and Valverde meet. The collision, which happened around 4:30 a.m., involved three vehicles and temporarily shut down southbound lanes of Federal Boulevard.

According to police on the scene, two women in a white vehicle are believed to have caused the crash and then fled on foot. Investigators have not yet released any detailed description of the suspects, and they remain at large as of Tuesday afternoon.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities are continuing to examine the scene and gather witness statements to determine what led to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing, and Denver police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

FOX31 will provide updates as more details become available.
