Driver Found Guilty in Tragic Death of Teen Cyclist Magnus White
A Boulder County jury has found Yeva Smilianska guilty of vehicular homicide and reckless driving in the death of 17-year-old Magnus White, a rising star in the cycling world who was struck and killed while training last summer. White, a member of the USA Cycling National Team, was riding his bike on July 29, 2023, preparing for an international competition when he was hit by Smilianska’s vehicle.
