Covering the happenings in Denver lately can be depressing. There are so many senseless deaths, violence and people struggling in our fair city. But there is something to look forward to very soon.

Starting on November 11th at 12pm, KOSI 101.1, Denver’s radio station will change over to its all-Christmas music format. I don’t know about you guys but this is a welcome change. To be honest I think we need the boost of positivity and holiday spirit.

It may seem a little early, considering that the Halloween decorations just came down. But take a look at retail stores and you will see that the aisles are already filled with Christmas decorations and artificial Christmas trees.

This is the 21st year that KOSI 101.1will change over to its all-Christmas music format. The annual Denver tradition delights over a million listeners each week.

I for one am ready for some Bing Crosby, Burl Ives, Andy Wiiliams and Elvis Presley. I can’t wait to have my music softly in the background to remind me of the good in the world. I need the reminder.

So turn those radios on Friday the 11th of November at noon, and get ready for a little lift in your spirits. You can listen to KOSI on the radio at 101.1 FM, online at KOSI101.com or on the free KOSI 101 app.
