Man Found Shot Dead in Aurora Park, Police Seek Suspects

Man Found Shot to Death at Aurora Park

Early Monday morning, a man was discovered shot to death in an Aurora park, prompting an investigation. Around 5:45 a.m., Aurora911 received a report of an unresponsive man lying in a park near East 3rd Avenue and Elmira Street, located just outside the Lowry Field neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they found the man, whose identity has not yet been released. Evidence at the scene suggests the man had been shot, and he was pronounced dead on arrival.

At this time, authorities are unsure when the shooting occurred and are actively working to gather information about any potential suspects. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
