The robbery occurred around 2:03 p.m. on May 27 when a masked male, armed with a firearm, entered the bank and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from several employees before fleeing on foot. Rocky Mountain High School was briefly placed on secure status due to its proximity to the crime scene. The bank remained closed for nearly three hours during the investigation. Officers also recovered key evidence during a search warrant at a nearby residence on City Park Avenue. “As we remain committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe, we want to assure the public that swift action was taken following this armed bank robbery.
