Coca-Cola rolls out state-themed cans for America’s 250th — here’s Colorado’s design
Coca-Cola is tapping into patriotic pride with a new limited-edition can series celebrating all 50 states, plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
The campaign is part of the lead-up to America’s 250th birthday, with the company releasing 52 mini can designs that highlight “iconic local symbols” unique to each region. According to Coca-Cola, each design blends recognizable state imagery with subtle Coke branding elements.

Some of the cans are pretty obvious—California features a surfer, while Wisconsin leans into its cheese reputation. Others are a bit more niche, like North Dakota’s state flower or Minnesota’s eight-pointed star from its flag.
Colorado’s version keeps it simple and on-brand for the state: A tree next to what appears to be Red Rocks.

As part of the promotion, Coca-Cola is also running a nationwide sweepstakes tied to its America250 partnership. Customers can scan select packaging for a chance to win prizes, including a new Jeep and collectible pins featuring the state designs.
The mini cans—available in Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero—are hitting shelves now and will be available through 2026. Standard 12-ounce cans won’t feature the special designs.
