The scene at the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station over Memorial Day weekend was anything but tranquil as summer visitors arrive by the thousands to relax and enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park.
In the wake of Rocky Mountain National Park’s timed-entry reservation system going into effect for the second season on Friday, park employees had to turn away people without reservations. Many visitors waited an hour in a bumper-to-bumper traffic.
