Sweet Heist in Northern Colorado: 26 Pounds of Honey Stolen from Berthoud Business
A bizarre theft in Northern Colorado has deputies searching for a suspect accused of making off with a large amount of honey.
According to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, the incident was reported on April 12, 2026, at a business located in the 2500 block of East Highway 56 in the Berthoud area. Investigators say the suspect allegedly stole approximately 26 pounds of honey before leaving the scene.

Authorities have not released additional details about the suspect but are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual involved.
