The Denver Steak Championship is a one-of-a-kind competition among the finest steakhouses in Denver. Pitted head to head, 25 regional chefs will put their grilling expertise on display as they vie for top honors and recognition of being considered among Colorado’s best at what they do. The competition will not only be judged by top steak connoisseurs, but you can help decide which steak reigns supreme, by voting on your mobile phone at the event. Chefs can try to win the hearts of the city’s steak lovers with a tried-and-true classic in the “Traditional Steak” category, or throw caution to the wind and get inventive in the “Creative Steak” category. All restaurants will enter a signature cocktail to complement their plates to up the ante – because what’s a great steak without something delicious to wash it down?

This year there’s an added bonus to all VIP ticket holders, it’s a micro event inside the VIP section called “Surf” Denver’s Seafood Challenge. RARE is partnering with Seattle Fish Company to produce a first-of-its-kind tasting challenge, a competition between seven elite seafood-centric restaurants for VIP guests to judge! This will be a super-premium tasting designed to dazzle the senses. From Sushi to Cioppino, VIPs will vote for their favorite!
