As reported by CBS4 this guys landlord just raised his rent from $1,650 to $2,490 for a 1 bedroom apartment in Denver.

Denver has been home to Blake Kittridge for four years. In the middle of the pandemic, he moved into the Infinity LoHi building. Although he likes living there, his rent has recently gone up by over $800 a month.

“I know that this is more of like a price-gouging thing,” he says. “The entire reason they are raising my rent like they are is because they believe they can get that on the market so they can push me out.”
