Video Released: Terrell Davis Handcuffed and Removed from United Flight

Former Broncos player Terrell Davis was handcuffed and taken off a United Airlines flight in front of his family. Following this incident, Davis’ attorneys released a video of what they described as a “traumatizing experience.”

The video shows an FBI agent and another law enforcement officer escorting Davis off the flight while passengers remained onboard. Davis appears to comply willingly in the video.

Davis’s attorney, Parker Stinar, announced plans to file a lawsuit on behalf of the family in the coming weeks. Stinar emphasized that Davis and his wife are using their platform to stand up against social injustices that others might not have the opportunity to challenge.

“Now they are in a situation to show their children that when something wrong takes place, you stand up against it,” Stinar said.

Terrell Davis Speaks About United’s ‘Deplorable Treatment’

In mid-July, Davis posted on Instagram about his experience on a United flight from Denver to Orange County, California, with his wife, two sons, and daughter.

Davis explained that during the flight, his son asked a flight attendant for some ice. When the attendant didn’t hear his son, Davis said he tapped the attendant, who then shouted, “Don’t hit me.” After the plane landed, the pilot asked everyone to remain seated. Six FBI and law enforcement officers then boarded the plane and handcuffed Davis without providing an explanation.

“The traumatizing experience of my two sons, daughter, and my wife watching me being placed in handcuffs – without due process or explanation – cannot be undone,” Davis wrote in his Instagram post.

Agents Apologize After Incident

Later, Davis said the agents determined that the flight attendant’s claim was inaccurate and they apologized to him.

United Airlines provided FOX31 with the following statement: “This is clearly not the kind of travel experience we strive to provide, and we have reached out to Mr. Davis’s team to apologize. We have removed the flight attendant from duty while we closely review this matter.”
