Do you have a refrigerator full of your kids’ artwork?
Kids are always making art. They love to express themselves through creative means, and that often includes drawing, painting, and crafting. If you’re like most parents, you probably have a lot of kids’ art lying around the house. But what do you do with it?

Here are some ideas for how to display and preserve your kids’ artwork.

1. Pass some along to grandparents or another family

What grandparent doesn’t like to brag about their grandkids? Compile them in a book for their coffee table or frame them for a gift. Let them be proud.

2. Rotate the best pieces in frames

I have a gallery where I display their best work in frames and rotate, seasonally. They are super proud to see their creations among “real” artists!

3. Designate a box for each child’s keepsake art

After your rotation is done and it’s time to put them away, place them in their own designated box or storage container. This makes them feel important, and preserves their moments of genius! You don’t have to keep every single one, but you can if you want.

4. Repurpose as gift wrap or cards for holidays

You get to save some trees and money, it’s a creative way to share their creations in a special way. Plus the recipients love the special touch!

5. Designate a corkboard to post their favorites

You can have one in their bedrooms and also in the main area of the house, such as the kitchen. They can place them in their storage box when it gets overfilled.

All in all, it can be a struggle to stay organized with kids. But with some creative thinking and incorporating some of these ideas into your daily routines, you may be able to manage all your little Picasso’s creations yet!
