Your Guide To Pride 2023

There's plenty of ways to celebrate Pride month whether your a part of the community or an ally.

June is Pride Month! With LGBTQ+ legislation issues at the forefront with many being stripped of their rights, celebrating this month is essential to keep the LGBTQ+ community thriving. Now more than ever is your chance to participate in a movement that celebrates equality with a bit of razzle-dazzle.

Whether you’re a part of the alphabet mafia or an ally, here are some of the best ways to celebrate Pride around the city for June.

Benchmark Theatre 
Now through July 1
Stonewall is the development from Benchmark Theatre that gives guests a glimpse into the history of the LGBTQ+ community. The show does have adult content and is for those ages 12+. Performances are Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $30, $25 for students and $18 for Thursday shows, for more information, CLICK HERE.

Queeridescence: A Prismatic Masquerade
Thursday, June 15, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Grant-Humphreys Mansion, 770 Pennsylvania Street
If you want to celebrate in a dry scene, this event is family-friendly and alcohol-free. Tickets are $10 for ages 13-20yo and $20 for 21+. For more information, CLICK HERE.

Meow Wolf
Thursday, June 15, and Friday, June 16, 8 p.m.
T
he Perplexiplex at Meow Wolf, 1338 First Street
Meow Wolf will host a 21+ survival guide to Pride celebration brought to you by the House of L’Whor, We Are Here. Tickets are $32.50. For more information, CLICK HERE

The Strange Fruit of Black Excellence Gala
Friday, June 16, 6 to 10 p.m.
Freyer-Newman Center at the Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York Street
Honor Black excellence at the Denver Botanic Gardens with a live auction, food, drinks, and music. There is a theme be prepared to dress your best as it is black-tie. This is for 21+, and tickets are $55; for more information, CLICK HERE.

The Denver Underground PrideFest
June 17 12 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Held at the Seventh Circle Music Collective, this year guests get to experience queer music, drag, and more. There’s a suggested $15 donation at the door, for more information CLICK HERE.

Pride Crawl
June 17 4 p.m. to 11:50 p.m.
The 6th Annual Pride Bat Crawl will start at Hamburger Mary’s (1336 East 17th Avenue Denver, CO 80218). This almost 8 hour event costs from $20-30, for more information  CLICK HERE.

The Storybook KiKi Ball Presented by House of Flora
Saturday, June 17, 9 p.m.
The Perplexiplex at Meow Wolf, 1338 First Street
With plenty of runway categories, the KiKi House of Flora, a family who got their start in Portland and came to Denver, is continuously elevating vogue. Tickets are $25; for more information, CLICK HERE.

Denver Dyke March & Rally Year Fifteen
Saturday June 24 from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Center on Colfax 1301 East Colfax Avenue
This group fights for LGBTQ + rights all year round- and will start in the Center on Colfax parking lot t noon and end at the steps of the Capitol Building.  For more information CLICK HERE.

Denver PrideFest
Saturday June 24 and Sunday June 25
Civic Center Park 101 West 14th Avenue
What a better way to celebrate pride month other than at the biggest Pride event in the region. With over 250 exhibitors, live performances, vendors and so much more. PrideFest also brings to the stage Big Freedia and familiar faces from RuPaul’s Drag Race. For more information CLICK HERE.
