With all the excitement around the new Buc-ee’s in Colorado, many customers are wondering why the gas station doesn’t have any places to sit and eat.

The sight of freshly chopped barbecue being piled onto buns and drenched in sauce is enough to make anyone’s mouth water. But as you look around the massive store, you realize there’s one thing missing: a place to enjoy your meal.

This lack of seating has sparked a discussion among Buc-ee’s fans on Facebook.

“Why can’t you eat the food you buy there?” questioned Dale Oldham in a post. “Even picnic tables outside would be nice.”

Marie Damico responded, explaining that Buc-ee’s is designed to be a convenient stop on a journey, not a dining destination. “It’s basically a fancy gas station,” she said. “The good food, clean bathrooms, and fun atmosphere are there to make your trip better, not to be the main event.”

Some newcomers to Buc-ee’s were disappointed to learn about the lack of seating. “That’s a bummer,” said Noel Mcthompson. “I heard they had a real restaurant! I might not even go now.”

Another commenter, Beth Riley Sheddan, pointed out a practical concern. “People would park at the pumps forever if there was seating,” she noted. Amanda Marie Cressey simply stated, “It’s a gas station, not a restaurant.”
