After six years of being blacked out, Altitude Sports is officially returning to Comcast, allowing more Colorado viewers to watch the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games live. On Tuesday, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, the owner of Altitude Sports, and Comcast reached an agreement that brings the sports network back to Xfinity TV customers. This deal marks a significant win for Colorado sports fans, as they can now access live broadcasts of all local games through television, online, or mobile devices.

The agreement is effective immediately, and Xfinity customers in the Denver market will find Altitude Sports on channel 1250. The network is included in the Xfinity More Sports and Entertainment video package, which can be added to existing subscriptions like Xfinity Sports & News, Popular TV, or Ultimate TV. Governor Jared Polis expressed his excitement, noting that this deal will make it easier for fans and families to enjoy games featuring top local athletes like Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Nathan McKinnon, and Cale Makar without obstacles.

The return of Altitude Sports follows years of disputes with multiple cable and satellite providers that led to the network pulling its channel, leaving many fans unable to watch Colorado sports. Since August 2019, Altitude’s broadcast rights for the Nuggets, Avalanche, Rapids, and Mammoth were not available on Comcast. A lawsuit was filed by KSE in 2023, alleging that Comcast had plans to force Altitude out of business in order to create its own regional sports channel. After the lawsuit settlement in March 2023, fans are finally able to enjoy the games on Comcast again.
