A post shared by Harkins Theatres (@harkinstheatres)

Harkins Theatres in Denver are providing residents with a blast from the past. Movie lovers can now see some of their favorite ‘80s classic films on the big screen for $5 each. So grab your kids and introduce them to some of your fave films from childhood, or bring a date, donning your tight-rolled jeans and crimped hair. The 80s are back, until September 7th.

Harkins Theatre announced it will bring 8 movie classics back to the big screen over the next month. The ‘80s Film Series begins Saturday, Aug.13 and continues through Wednesday, September 7 at Harkins Theatres across the nation.

Tickets are $5 each and are on sale now at Harkins.com. Showtimes are twice per day of each movie on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

I know you are wondering which of our favorite ‘80s classics are being shown. Well, there are some good ones in there! Harkins Theatres said it will bring “The Breakfast Club”, “Gremlins”, “The NeverEnding Story”, “Pretty In Pink”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Risky Business”, “Labyrinth”, and “National Lampoon’s Vacation” to the big screen over the next month.

Here is the schedule to help you plan your movie night out:

August 13 & 17

  • The Breakfast Club (Rated R)
  • Gremlins (Rated PG)

August 20 & 24

  • The NeverEnding Story ( Rated PG)
  • Pretty In Pink (Rated PG-13)

August 27 & 31

  • Little Shop of Horrors (Rated PG-13)
  • Risky Business (Rated R)

September 3 & 7

  • Labyrinth (Rated PG)
  • National Lampoon’s Vacation (Rated R)

I don’t know about you, but I am super stoked to see some of these films. Even if I own them on DVD, there’s nothing like going to the theater, grabbing some popcorn, soda and candy and enjoying the movie experience.
