With plenty of dining options at 16th Street Mall, there’s a new addition to the shopping center that is perfect for date night, an after-dinner treat, or a “treat yourself” moment.
The Yard Milkshake Bar first appeared on “Shark Tank” in 2019 in Season 11 Episode 7 from creators Chelsea and Logan Green. The duo partnered with Mark Cuban, who has 22% equity in the company, as reported by Shark Tank Recap. Now, Colorado “Shark Tank” fans and milkshake lovers can enjoy the build-your-own milkshake bar at the 16th Street Mall.
With over 15 specialty milkshakes, over 20 ice cream flavors, more than five edible cookie dough flavors, and over 12 ice cream bowl options, the milkshake bar is available in gluten-free and vegan options and starts at $20.70 per pint. While they are famous for milkshakes, they offer floats, scooped ice cream, waffle cones, dipped ice cream, and cotton candy.
The Yard Milkshake Bar was created by husband-and-wife dream team Logan and Chelsea Green, who, according to the company website, both come from “entrepreneur families.” Chelsea and her mother opened their first ice cream shop in 2011 and a second location in 2017.
One evening while “brainstorming name ideas” in her living room, the Yard was curated, first getting its start in “their hometown of Gulf Shores, AL” They took their delicious idea to “Shark Tank,” and the rest is history.
The Yard Milkshake Bar has 23 operating locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Colorado.
