The Denver Broncos have claimed an unexpected title: the top consumer of Uncrustables in the NFL. According to a report from The Athletic, the Broncos out-eat every other team in the league when it comes to the popular peanut butter and jelly sandwich snack, consuming a whopping 700 Uncrustables each week. This number is more than double that of the second-place team, the Seattle Seahawks, who eat 320 Uncrustables weekly.
With 77 players on the Broncos roster, each player averages just over nine Uncrustables a week. The report highlights a surprising trend among NFL teams, as the league’s combined Uncrustables consumption reaches an estimated 80,000 per year. Rounding out the top 10 teams are:
- Denver Broncos — 700
- Seattle Seahawks — 320
- Jacksonville Jaguars — 315
- Miami Dolphins — 300
- Atlanta Falcons — 250
- Pittsburgh Steelers — 225
- Arizona Cardinals — 200
- Minnesota Vikings — 200
- Los Angeles Chargers — 200
- Baltimore Ravens — 150
It turns out NFL players have a serious love for this childhood favorite snack, with the Broncos leading the charge in turning Uncrustables into a team favorite.
