Heads up, drivers! The C-470 and Santa Fe interchange will be completely shut down from 7 pm on Friday, March 8th until 5:30 am on Wednesday, March 13th. This closure is due to the Santa Fe bridge replacement project, which aims to improve traffic flow in the area.

During the closure, eastbound and westbound C-470 traffic will be detoured using the off- and on-ramps at Santa Fe. Drivers will exit at Santa Fe, proceed through a green light, and use the on-ramp to get back on C-470.

For those traveling on Santa Fe Drive, the road will be closed between County Line Road and Blakeland Drive. Drivers can detour east to Lucent Blvd. from either County Line Rd. or Town Center Dr. It’s recommended to use 6th Ave. north of the project area as an alternate route.

Expect delays of up to 20 minutes, and potentially longer during peak traffic hours. If possible, consider using alternate routes to avoid the area altogether. The closure is expected to end by 5:30 am on Wednesday, March 13th, weather permitting.
