In the year 2000, The Lightrail opened to the Suburbs, and finally people could travel from Littleton to Downtown Denver and Back.  In 2006 they opened up another branch that led to the Tech Center, Park Meadows and beyond.  During the pandemic, service was reduced immensely, and fewer trains were dispatched.  RTD is finally making some of those Changes Permanent, by removing the C line, and the F line.  The C line ran from Mineral Station in Littleton to Union station.  The F line ran from Ridgegate in Lone Tree to 18th and California.  To adjust, you will need to take the D or E lines, and you may need to change trains at the Broadway, Alameda or 10th and Osage Stations, depending on where you’re going.  These changes take place on January 8th.  The RTD takes a look at ridership a few times each year, so if more people get back to riding public transportation, and trains get fuller, they may add these routes back in. Figure out your new train here.
