Prost Brewing Co., a Denver-based craft brewery specializing in German-style beers, is celebrating the opening of its newest biergarten in Northglenn. The 10,000-square-foot space, located at the Northglenn Marketplace at 104th Avenue and Interstate 25, marks Prost’s fourth biergarten in Colorado and is sure to become a popular community gathering spot.

“This facility is kind of a dream come true and it will be our forever home at least for the next thirty years,” said Prost co-owner and president David Deline. “We have really fortunate to have had double-digit growth over the last several years. … Nothing is ever not nerve-racking when you are taking a risk, but I think this is a perfect time. This investment allows us to double down on who we are … and to carve ourselves out as an authority in our space.”

The Northglenn Biergarten features a spacious indoor area with plenty of seating, as well as a sprawling outdoor beer garden that’s perfect for enjoying the Colorado sunshine. The menu includes a variety of traditional German dishes, such as sausages, schnitzel, and pretzels, as well as Prost’s full selection of biers.

The biergarten is the first phase of Prost’s new, nearly 60,000-square-foot production headquarters in Northglenn. The brewery itself is expected to begin operations in February and will eventually produce up to 50,000 barrels of beer per year, making Prost one of the largest craft breweries in Colorado.

“We are thrilled that so many partners came together to help the City of Northglenn bring Prost Brewing Company to the Northglenn Marketplace, including the State and the County,” said Northglenn Mayor Meredith Leighty in 2022. “Together, we recognized the potential of this family-run business to reinvigorate the shopping center and the importance of keeping Colorado companies in-state. We’re ready to welcome Prost Brewing Company to their forever home.”

In addition to the original location in Denver and the new Northglen facility, Prost also has taprooms in Highlands Ranch and Fort Collins.

The Northglenn Biergarten is now open for a soft launch, which will run through January 3rd. A grand opening celebration is planned for Thursday, January 4th.
