Childhood friends Michael Martelli Jr. and Brad Jester opened 5280 Produce in 2013 inside the former Federal Fruit & Produce warehouse, which Michael’s father had operated. Michael grew up working alongside his dad. If you shopped at the Mile High Flea Market in the ’90s or early 2000s, you might have bought produce from him and his crew.
